President Adly Mansour will declare Saturday the date for the constitutional referendum, presidential advisor Ali Awad told me Friday

The ongoing Brotherhood protests at Egypt’ s universities and their calls for demonstrations on the referendum day will not affect its scheduling, Awad said

He added that security services are playing their role and are ready for any acts of violence that would threaten to postpone the referendum
